Welcome to Cheapside Green Community Hub in Worksop!

Our outdoor community hub in Worksop launched in autumn 2024 and continues to grow.

We host family events, children’s nature play groups, workshops, green skills training sessions, and much more. We also grow our own produce to use in healthy cooking and eating events on-site.

Every week we welcome volunteers who want to be part of something special, to give back to the community and the environment.

All our events are FREE, as we are fully funded. To see upcoming events, keep an eye on this page or follow us on social media: FacebookX (Twitter) – Instagram

Address: Entrance to Allotments via metal gate next to 109 Cheapside, Worksop, S80 2JD

Volunteering opportunities

We have big plans for our Hub! Will you help us make it a success for the local community?

We need volunteers to help us with: DIY, gardening, implementing infrastructure such as polytunnels, raised beds, seating, and more.

People of all ages, skill levels and abilities are welcome. We will be on-site every Monday morning from 9:30am – 12pm. You can still sign up even if you can’t join us every week.

If you are part of a business or organisation, we can host your next team day here!

Having a volunteering day at our Hub is a great way to team-build and strengthen bonds, enjoy working in the outdoors, and achieve something fantastic for the local community and environment.

We can host large groups and have plenty of varying tasks for people of all abilities – from weeding and planting, to DIY and implementing infrastructure.

Cheapside Green Community Hub in Worksop gets financial support

We are pleased to announce a £50,000 funding boost. The money will be spent on installing drainage, erecting polytunnels and all-weather shelters at the allotment site, which will also offer space for mental health services through a sensory area, offer schools the opportunity to engage children alongside developing a wildlife haven.
