We do so by maintaining safe and accessible local green places, by supporting communities with habitat management projects, and by delivering commercial contracts that benefit local communities.
By exploring biodiversity and carbon offset projects, by working with social housing and community associations, and by mitigating the effects of climate change, we empower residents to value their outdoor spaces.
We also work closely with business of all shapes and sizes to offer corporate volunteering and other opportunities to support the natural environment.

Case Study: EMCCA
We recently welcomed staff from East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) on a volunteering day at our Cheapside Green Community Hub in Worksop.
A dozen enthusiastic staff members got stuck in with building a polytunnel and seating, laying a welcoming pathway, planting hedgerows potting seeds, removing invasive plants, and more.
