Changing places and changing lives in Norwich and wider Norfolk

Posted on 16 April 2018

Community charity Groundwork Norfolk has a new office in Norwich which will help it to change more places and lives across the county.

The office, based in Stalham House, is owned by the RSPB.

Groundwork is the charity with a green heart that teaches communities how to use their local environment and green spaces as a place for learning, improving their skills and keeping active. The charity also helps businesses and communities to reduce their impact on their local environments by reducing waste and pollution.

Groundwork Norfolk is part of Groundwork East which also operates across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Suffolk.

Steve Harvey, Executive Director for Groundwork East said "We are extremely thankful to the RSPB for renting us this space. By having a permanent base in Norwich, we can now positively impact more people across the county. It is an exciting time for Groundwork in Norfolk."
