People living and working in Ely can access free expert training in Citizen Science, helping you learn new skills and improve your local environment through our sessions.

The training will feature support in species identification, biodiversity monitoring, and digital recording via the iNaturalist app. Once participants are trained they will be able to provide critical long-term data to support evidence-based decision-making for habitat management locally.

The training is completely free to attend and individuals, groups or families are welcome to come along. (Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult, suitable for ages 6+).

Fantastic interactive session, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, lots of ideas for biodiversity in our neighbourhood
