Groundwater flooding over the road following recent storms

As the effects of climate change and other environmental/socio-political issues continue to affect lives and ecosystems worldwide, so too does the growing need for action. Research from INHERIT (Institute for Heritage & Sustainable Human Development) among numerous other studies further highlights the importance of increasing public awareness on social and environmental topics to drive improvements in sustainability and health.

To enable social action, inspire behaviour change and, ultimately, create active citizens there is a need for increased public understanding on the environment.

We have been undertaking this type of work for nearly ten years and over the last few years we have experienced an increased interest and opportunity for this area of work.

Through our projects below, our services include:

  • Interactive learning around current science, impact and solutions
  • Giving people the knowledge and tools they need to become engaged citizens
  • Raising awareness on topical and local issues
  • Supporting employers, volunteers and communities become ‘Carbon Literate’
