Help make more space for nature in Leiston

Groundwork East is inviting local residents, families and community groups to get involved in practical volunteering activities at Victory Road Park and Millennium Wood between July and October 2026.

The project will help create a greener, more wildlife-friendly Leiston, with opportunities to take part in weekly practical sessions and monthly community events. Activities will include habitat creation, citizen science surveys and outdoor nature activities for young children.

No previous experience is needed, just come along, get involved and help support local wildlife while improving green spaces for the community.
