Mind, Body & Soil is a nature-based wellbeing programme centred around gardening, food growing and connection to green spaces with a strong focus on horticulture for wellbeing, mindfulness in nature and sustainable food practices.

Designed to have a positive impact on mental health, self esteem and confidence, the course will also enable participants to:

  • Learn a range of practical gardening skills and how to apply them in a community garden setting
  • Undertake nature based/well-being tasks for positive mental health
  • Take part in more physical activity to improve both physical and mental health
  • Improve skills and confidence in communication and teamwork
  • Experience working as part of a team & feeling confident to work independently
  • Improve and develop employability skills and attitudes

Sessions typically run once a week for about 4 hours, for 5 to 6 weeks.
