Wild Play
Wild play sessions focus on the benefits of outdoor play and improving literacy. Sessions encourage families to take their learning outdoors to get more active as a family, increasing their levels of physical activity and mental wellbeing.
Activities include scavenger and bug hunting, natural arts and crafts, exploring nature, and learning through play (and much more!) and is aimed at families with pre-school children.
Sessions are FREE and you just need to find an event near you and book your ticket via eventbrite below (as we do have number limitations), make sure you are all wearing outdoor clothes you don’t mind getting a bit grubby, and come and have fun!
I think any opportunities for families in the community to have outdoor, quality time with their children, engaging in activities that they may not usually do, is a wonderful thing. For families who are trying to fill weekends and holidays with fun, enriching days out, and often on a budget, a free activity session is very much welcomed.
