Healthy Homes Analysis – Information and Consent

Our FREE Healthy Homes Analysis help you to identify issues in your home through temperature and humidity sensors which measure the energy performance and the health of your home.
We are partnering with Dampsmart (dampsmart.co) in this analysis. See below all the information about their service, including details on the sensors, your data and rights.
Dampsmart provide small temperature and humidity sensors, predictive technology and mobile friendly reports for home owners to use. The data and analytics enables people to see how the fabric of their home and daily activity affects can maintain a warm, damp and mould free environment.
What is the equipment?
A small (4cmx4cm x1cm) battery powered temperature and humidity sensor is put in each room of the home. A 5cmx5cmx1.5cm mains powered hub device is placed near the centre of the home to pick up the signals from the sensors.
The hub uses less than 2kWh of electricity (approximately 70p) over the two-week period). The hub has a SIM card, so will not be connected to your WiFi.
What data is collected?
Only temperature and humidity data within each room of the property. The devices cannot record any video or audio (sound). Dampsmart will only receive the address of the property including postcode, not your name, phone number or email address unless you want to be contacted by them directly.
How long does the analysis last?
We will collect data from your home for 2 weeks. We will inform you if the monitoring needs to be for longer and explain why.
What is the purpose of the data?
The data enables us to assess the actual energy efficiency of your home, identify issues with heating, ventilation, condensation, damp and mould, and work with you on the best course of action to ensure a healthy home environment.
