Worried about damp or heat loss?
Get a FREE Healthy Homes Analysis to identify issues in your home through temperature and humidity sensors.
This fully funded charity service helps you to identify areas of heat loss and damp, so you can make your home safer, more energy efficient, and cut down on costly energy bills.
If you sign up, a friendly Green Doctor (energy and money-saving expert) will visit you at home and will install up to eight small sensors in each room to measure temperature and humidity for 2 weeks. The sensors don’t use your WiFi and can’t record audio or video.
You will receive a full data report and bespoke advice on how to remedy found issues, so you’ll know exactly where you have damp and heat loss and how to fix it. We also use a thermal camera to give you visual confirmation of heat loss.
The data allows us to assess the actual energy efficiency of your home, identify issues with heating, ventilation, condensation, damp and mould, and advise you on the best course of action.

This is a free service funded by the Cadent Foundation for East Midlands home owners, delivered through our Green Doctor project. There is no eligibility criteria around age, income, or any other stipulations.

About the equipment
Small (4cmx4cm x1cm) sensors are put in each room of the home. A 5cmx5cmx1.5cm mains powered hub is placed near the centre of the home to pick up the signals.
The hub uses less than 2kWh of electricity (approx. 70p over 2 weeks) and has a SIM card, so will not be connected to your WiFi.
