Community Builders Fund
The Community Builders Fund provides access to loans of between £100k to £1.5m to charities and social enterprises who are tackling key societal challenges and nature and environmental work, to help grow their organisation, invest in assets and adapt to changing needs.
Who is eligible?
The Community Builders Fund is available to charities and social enterprises across England, Wales and Scotland. For more eligibility criteria information, click here.
This could be for many different reasons, for example reduced carbon emissions, energy cost savings, upgrading energy efficiency ratings to meet future regulations, increased use or comfort of buildings, replacing older vehicles and equipment with modern energy efficient versions.
How to apply
Complete and application via the Social Investment Business website and select Groundwork as your preferred partner.
Energy Resilience Fund
The Energy Resilience Fund provides a blended funding package of loan (60%) and grant (40%) to bolster the energy resilience of eligible charities and social enterprises in England.
Who is eligible?
The Energy Resilience Fund is for charities and social enterprises based in and delivering impact in England, who are looking to improve their energy resilience.
This could be for many different reasons, for example reduced carbon emissions, energy cost savings, upgrading energy efficiency ratings to meet future regulations, increased use or comfort of buildings, replacing older vehicles and equipment with modern energy efficient versions.
How to apply
Complete an application form via the Social Investment Business website. This website also has further information about eligibility, terms and conditions, and the application process.
Reach Fund
The Reach Fund helps charities and social enterprises raise investment. The grant is aimed at helping these organisations provide the final information that investors need before they can invest. The programme offers grants on average of between £5,000 and £15,000.
Who is eligible?
The Reach Fund is for charities and social enterprises located in England that need help providing the information that an investor needs.
You can only apply for a grant through this programme following a referral from an access point. Access points are social investors approved by the Reach Fund who refer organisations they are working with to apply for grants – Groundwork are an access point for the Reach Fund.

Thrive Together Fund
The Thrive Together Fund provides unrestricted funding of between £25,000 and £150,000 to unlock the growth of eligible charities and social enterprises in England.
The Thrive Together Fund is now closed to applications.
