Cherry Umineko Tree
- Cherry ‘Umineko’ is a cross between two other cherry trees that took place in the 1920’s.
- The name ‘Umeniko’ is Japanese for ‘White-tailed sea-eagle’ and was named after the white blossoms that cover the tree in mid to late April.
- In the autumn, the leaves turn shades of red, purple, and orange before falling from the tree.
