The Leaside Trust

Leaside combines inspiring and engaging outdoor learning activities in, on and near the River Lea, supporting the environmental awareness and physical and mental health of young people and adults in East London, developing confidence, interpersonal skills and ambitions.



OrganicLea produces and distributes food and plants locally, and inspires and supports others to do the same. With a workers’ co-operative at the core, OrganicLea brings people together to take action towards a more just and sustainable society.


St Werburghs City Farm

Propagation Place is a community plant nursery working with volunteers to sow, grow and sell vegetable and herb plants across the UK. The project aims to increase confidence, community resilience and wellbeing.


Crop Drop Ltd.

Non-profit that brings people back to local, seasonal and organic food in the London borough of Haringey. This through directly supporting small-scale urban growers and organic farmers. Runs an urban farm shop at the Blue House Yard. As a social enterprise any profits from trading activity are reinvested into furthering our community and educational goals.


National Biodiversity Network Trust

A nature conservation and citizen science charity that makes biodiversity information accessible to all.  The Trust’s NBN Atlas is a portal where you can view the wildlife that has been recorded in your area of interest and find out more about it.


Manchester Urban Diggers CIC

MUD (Manchester Urban Diggers CIC) is a social enterprise, working to create food system change and empower communities through creating grassroots, people-led farming projects across Greater Manchester where communities can grow food to share or to sell.


CCORRN – Cambridgeshire Community Reuse and Recycling Network Ltd

CCORRN’s Eco Park will create incubation pods for community enterprises focused on circular economy activities. Providing a sustainable alternative to normal retail shopping centres.
