Job Summary

Help someone believe in their future again. As an Employment Adviser at Groundwork, you’re a coach, motivator, and guide—not someone ticking boxes. You’ll work with people facing real barriers: lack of confidence, long-term unemployment, health challenges, digital skill gaps. This role blends practical careers advice with deep empathy.

You’ll provide tailored, one-to-one support for each person’s unique journey. This goes beyond CV polishing—you’re building genuine relationships to understand aspirations and obstacles. You’ll connect people with training, volunteer opportunities, and local vacancies, bridging the gap between where they are and stable, fulfilling work.

This is transformation work. You’ll witness confidence returning, people moving from stuck to capable and independent. You’ll tackle social inequality head-on while developing high-level skills in coaching, partnership building, and project management—excellent foundations for a career in the social and charity sectors.
