Groundwork Greater Manchester are running a two-week pre-employment course for people looking to start their career in the green economy. Those who complete this programme will receive support from our dedicated employment coaches and we will guarantee interviews for current Groundwork vacancies.
Course content
- L1 Health and Safety at Work
- L1 Customer Service
- L3 Emergency First Aid at Work
- Carbon Literacy training
- Skills for securing, starting and sustaining employment; team work and communication skills
- Employer presentations, Q&A’s and work placements
Groundwork’s employment specialists will provide:
- 1-2-1 support to build confidence, commitment and address personal barriers
- Training focused on building understanding of employer needs and behaviour expectations
