Groundwork’s wild play sessions teach families how to use the outdoors to play and learn.
What do sessions include?
Sessions are delivered by a member of Groundwork’s Environmental Education team, for parents and their children aged four to eight.
Our projects are tailored to the needs of local families, and sessions can be themed. Typical activities include:
- Natural art
- Wildlife detection
- Scavenger hunt
- Bushcraft
- Christmas / Easter natural crafts
Sessions encourage creativity and exploration in the natural world, improving physical and mental well-being.
