About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Employment Advisor to join our dynamic Employment Team in Barrow. In this rewarding role, you’ll work 1:1 with programme participants, supporting them on their journey towards employment. You’ll build strong, trusting relationships, create personal action plans, and help individuals develop the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.

You’ll be part of a supportive, fast-paced team environment where you will play a vital role in meeting programme targets and achieving positive outcomes for our community.

  • Confident in working with people from diverse backgrounds

  • Skilled in building relationships with individuals, community groups, and local employers

  • Comfortable managing sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism

  • A strong communicator with adaptable interpersonal skills

  • Organised, proactive, and target-driven

Experience in employability, coaching, or community work is beneficial, but more important is your ability to connect with people and drive positive change.
