We are recruiting for a: Energy Efficiency Advisor (Green Doctor)

Are you passionate about helping people and protecting the planet? Join Groundwork West Midlands Green Doctor team and make a real difference by supporting vulnerable households to improve their energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and stay warm. This is a field-based role, with travel across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. You'll be based from our Tipton office, with full training given.

Job Purpose

As a Green Doctor, you will support vulnerable households and communities to save money, stay warm and well, and reduce their environmental impact. You'll provide practical energy efficiency advice and guidance, helping people lower their energy costs while accessing the support they're entitled to. This is a rewarding role and involves travel across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing energy efficiency advice and guidance to households.
Installing and distributing basic energy-saving measures in people's homes.
Supporting residents to apply for grants, manage energy costs, and maximise their income.
Delivering community engagement sessions and energy awareness workshops.
Working with charities, local authorities, and partner organisations to refer residents for additional energy, financial, and wellbeing support.

Essential requirements:
Full UK driving licence and a vehicle.
Post will require a full DBS check to be completed if successful.
A passion for helping people and delivering excellent customer service.
