We are recruiting for a: Youth Projects Lead
Job Purpose
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST:
We’re looking for a part-time Youth Projects Lead to lead and deliver high-quality youth work programmes that support young people to develop skills, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes across Greater Manchester.
You will manage a caseload of young people and deliver a range of youth work projects and interventions, working closely with partners to provide effective wraparound support. Through your work, you will help young people overcome barriers, strengthen their resilience, and become more connected to their communities.
You will build and maintain strong partnerships to support project sustainability and growth, while using insight, data and learning to continually improve services.
As a JNC-qualified Youth Worker, you will have a sound understanding of youth work principles, safeguarding, and effective case management. You will be confident leading youth projects, managing budgets, collecting outcome data and working in partnership with other organisations to provide coordinated support for young people.
You will have a strong awareness of the social and economic challenges affecting diverse communities and be committed to creating inclusive opportunities that enable young people to thrive. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences using a variety of approaches, including digital media.
A clean and valid UK driving licence is required due to travel across Greater Manchester.
