NEWS: Jason Manford visits Groundwork project to launch Quaker campaign
Comedian Jason Manford recently visited Brinnington Big Local, a Groundwork project in his hometown of Stockport, to kick off Quaker’s ‘Share the Warmth’ campaign to help communities facing challenging times this winter.
The campaign will see Groundwork administer a cash donation from Quaker in the form of grants to support just over 45 warm hubs across the UK, which are heated drop in centres where people struggling with rising energy costs can go to meet their neighbours.
A full list of the warm hubs that Quaker is helping to support can be found below:
For many people across the UK, warm hubs are a lifeline where people have access to a warm, safe space and can socialise and share stories. During the current financial climate, people need to access these warm hubs more than ever. We really value the support of brands like Quaker, which allows us to help more people when they need it most.
