Groundwork is seeking day rates from Energy Consultants with experience in delivering business energy efficiency support to businesses.  

This will include Energy Audits, Telephone / Online energy advisory Services for companies and Production of Related Energy Efficiency Support Guidance Information Sheets and videos production materials for distribution to companies.  

 Energy Audits:   

The successful Energy Consultant(s) will undertake energy audits for businesses, as identified by Groundwork, and report findings and energy efficiency opportunities back to Groundwork.  

 Energy audit reports must include:  

  • Action Plan reporting on the current status of the business premises in relation to energy consumption, current technology used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning and how to improve through installing low or zero carbon technologies (on-site Renewable energy generation).  
  • Cost savings  
  • Co2 savings  
  • Investment costs  
  • Payback period of investment.  

 Telephone / Online energy advisory Services for companies including webinars:  

  • Supply of consultant time to provide companies with advice on energy efficiency and net-zero.   
  • Supply of consultant time to delivery advisory services through webinars.  

Energy Efficiency Support Guidance Information Sheets and videos production materials for distribution to companies  

  • Consultant time is required to support production of energy efficiency information sheets and videos.  

 Billing costs split 

Consultants will be paid based on their day rate. Please also include details of additional costs including mileage /travel costs and the address from which travel will be charged.
