Groundwork NI was delighted to be able to provide cookers for a range of Sheds across NI, along with some kitchen essentials. We were delighted to hear the wonderful recipes being made with the use of these slow cookers.
There are many benefits to using slow cookers, it is convenient as you can add all your ingredients at one time, they are able to tenderise less expensive cuts of meat and use less electricity than an oven.
One Shed made chicken in a honey mustard sauce and beef stew.
Another Shed made potato and leek soup! We are looking forward to hearing what other wonderful dishes are made with the slow cookers – save a plate for us!
