This is a critical moment for Widnes Town Centre, and your perspective is essential.

Halton Borough Council and the Cheshire Police Crime Commissioner (PCC) have teamed up with Groundwork – a proven independent placemaking specialist behind successful business led town centre improvements projects in Warrington and Northwich – to launch an important business consultation.
The Council and its partners including the PCC would like to get a better understanding of the needs and aspirations of businesses in Widnes town centre. It is recognised that there are things that could be improved, however the Council and the PCC need your input and support to do this.
This consultation follows the recent approval of a Town Centre Regeneration Framework for Widnes, which sets out a 15-year programme of investment projects with objectives to create a more cohesive town centre, with simplified road networks, stronger connections to the surrounding areas, enhanced sustainability and improved public green spaces in the town centre.

- Share your thoughts on opportunities for growth and vibrancy.
- Influence critical decisions, including the potential for a Business Improvement District (BID) that could give local business a stronger voice, enhance your trading environment, attract investment, and support sustainable growth.
