Groundwork is working across Coventry and Warwickshire to deliver 'Progress', a brand new tailored programme of coaching and support to help NEET (not in employment, education or training) and at risk of NEET young people across Coventry and Warwickshire access training and employment opportunities.
‘Progress’, is a part of ‘Building Better Opportunities’ - a programme funded by the European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund to tackle poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England.
The programme has been designed to help young people aged 15 – 24 improve their chances of employment by offering them coaching support and bespoke activities in order to build skills and confidence and ultimately put them on the right path to a successful future.
Groundwork UK is leading an exciting and diverse partnership of local delivery partners – with support from local councils – which aims to transform the prospects of those young people in Coventry and Warwickshire who most need support.
The full list of delivery partners are: Citizens Advice, Coventry City Council, Groundwork West Midlands, Heart of England Mencap, Hereward College, Motorvate UK, Positive Youth Foundation, Target Support for Young People (Warwickshire County Council), Team SpringBoard, The Learn2 Group, Valley House, Values Education For Life, Voluntary Action Coventry and Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs.
