Are you an experienced project manager? Are you passionate about helping communities to thrive, improving local environments, and supporting people to fulfil their potential?
Groundwork UK

Programme Coordinator

Starting salary: £31,990

(Based in Birmingham – remote working considered)

Groundwork is a charity working locally and nationally to transform lives in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.
We’re passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green, every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny and no-one is held back by their background or circumstances. We help people gain confidence and skills, get into training and work, protect and improve green spaces, lead more active lives and overcome significant challenges such as poverty, isolation, low skills and poor health.

We are recruiting to a new programme management role within our national contracts team. The post holder will lead the implementation and management of two new programmes focused on creating ‘green job’ opportunities for unemployed people in response to the economic downturn. Key functions will include relationship management with our funders and partners, coordinating the work of teams across the country, monitoring and evaluation, and working with practitioners to deliver high performing programmes that maximise impact for our beneficiaries.
We are seeking an individual who has experience of working on employability support programmes, can work with minimal supervision, and who is able to manage multiple work streams in a busy but rewarding environment.

If this opportunity excites you please download an application pack from our website www.groundwork.org.uk. Please complete the application form and return it to recruitmentUK@groundwork.org.uk by no later than Wednesday 24th February at 12 noon.
