Stone Lodge Academy is an SEN school that benefitted from the John Laing Charitable Trust funding to re-design their outdoor area.
The Academy wanted to create a sensory garden and an all-weather play area, as well as seeking advice about play equipment suitable for older students.
Thanks to the funding, the school was able to commission Groundwork’s Landscape Architects to conduct a site visit, and offer support and guidance, before drawing up a design to help make the project a reality. Costings have also been provided and Groundwork is currently supporting the school to secure the necessary funding.
