Detached Activities Facilitator 

Job Vacancy | Groundwork South 

Location: Downs Farm, Farley Bank, Halton Hastings
Contract: Fixed Term to 15th December (potential for extension depending on funding)
Salary: £10,140 per annum (£13 per hour, FTE £25,350)
Hours: 15 hours each week (two days after school, to be negotiated and weekends including Sundays as required)

The Detached Activities Facilitator will support the delivery of fun, engaging activities connecting families to nature in three local neighbourhoods located across Ore, Hastings.

The successful candidate will coordinate the delivery of a range of activities to engage the local community, creating a programme of events at various locations with limited facilities. Activities will be nature based themed and could include family sessions, early years workshops, and activities co-designed with local residents. You will work closely with Senior Community Outreach Worker and the Horticulture and Conservation Facilitator and assist in signposting residents to additional opportunities and services.

This role would be ideal for someone who is interested in nature and the  environment and has experience of working with communities, children and families. You will have experience of delivering nature and arts based workshops and knowledge of H&S and Safeguarding related to session delivery.

Full UK licence and ability travel around Hastings is required.
