Welcome to the Avison Young Community Fund!

The AY Community Fund allows our staff to support the local charities or organisations that are important to them. It is part of our on-going commitment to the communities we live and work in.

We know that many of you are involved with charities or voluntary organisations, and the fund allows you to help financially by nominating them for a grant. Please take time to read and understand the process. You only need to submit the initial grant application and we will do the rest.

Groundwork are our fund managers and will to support you throughout your application.

We look forward to funding some wonderful projects and making a positive impact in your communities.

Process

Stage One – Initial Application

Application to be completed by the AY employee. Grant applications must be made via the online portal – see Apply section below. Your application will be assessed by Groundwork to ensure it meets the fund criteria. Successful grants for up to £500 are awarded at the end of Stage One.

Stage Two – Full Application

For grants of over £500, Groundwork will support your charity or organisation to complete a full application. This will be considered for approval by a panel of AY staff.

Stage Three – Grant Awarded

If your application is successful, an award offer is sent to your charity or organisation. Once accepted, the grant money will be paid. Project delivery is monitored and reported on by Groundwork.

Eligibility

Grants are available for up to £2,500 for charities or organisations working to support communities in four key areas – health and wellbeing, education and employment, shelter and housing and nature and conservation.

  • Religious activities (i.e. with a religious focus)
