Administration & Finance Officer (Land of Oak & Iron)

Land of Oak & Iron - Administration and Finance Officer

Salary:  Circa £17,000 pro rata

Hours:    Part-time 22.5 hours per week

Location: Annfield Plain

Groundwork NE and Cumbria is the accountable body for the four year delivery of the £3.4 million Land of Oak & Iron Landscape Partnership Scheme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the Partnership Team, providing administration and financial services to ensure compliance with organisational standards.

With 500 years of authentic heritage, history, heroes and habitats, there is a wealth of activities and exciting projects happening on the ground. Rekindling local passion to enable this area’s unique combination of natural, industrial and cultural heritage to be uncovered and rediscovered, the Land of Oak & Iron is about celebrating the past while looking forward to a sustainable future.

The scheme has been supported by National Lottery players through a grant of £2.2 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in a previous role of administration and financial processes
  • An understanding of producing funding claims
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of computer packages – Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • Ability to produce high quality work within set timescales
