What is it?

The Community Ideas Grants and Walking and Cycling Grants London aims to make sure all Londoners benefit from the joys of walking and cycling.

Transport for London in partnership with The London Marathon Charitable Trust are offering community grants of up to £5,000 over 1 year or £10,000 – over 3 years – to fund projects that engage communities across London in safe, enjoyable and inclusive walking and cycling activities.

What are the programme objectives?

To be eligible for the Community Ideas Grants or Walking and Cycling Grants London scheme your organisation must operate within Greater London and be one of the following groups:

  • a community organisation
  • a charity or third sector organisation
  • a not for profit organisation, community interest company (CIC) or social enterprise
