Do you want to find, or get involved in a specific resource efficiency project in London?

What we do and why:

We help residents and businesses to become more resource efficient and save money. We believe this has never been so important to so many, in the light of the current cost of living crisis and the climate crisis.

We work with utility companies, housing associations and local authorities to design resource efficiency programmes that help residents and business owners to save money by reducing energy and water use and preventing waste. One such service, our free ‘Green Doctor‘ home visits are now available to every household in London.

Water Efficiency and Sustainable Water Management:
We work with a number of water companies in London and the South of England to design and deliver water efficiency initiatives for householders, commercial businesses, and schools. Our specialist landscape designers are also implementing Sustainable Drainage Solutions (SuDS) to support water companies reduce the impact of storm overflow and reduce localised flooding.

Reducing Waste and Promoting Reuse and Recycling:
We design and manage a number of projects that reduce waste and promote reuse and recycling. These include our reuse training workshop ‘REWORK’, where furniture and white goods are repaired and refurbished for resale. Our community reuse hubs, The Loops, that create local circular economies and help 1000s of households save money. Our education teams have also designed food waste reduction programmes and we co-ordinate the annual London Upcycling Show.

Sustainable Business Services:
We offer energy audits and carbon measurement and reduction advice to businesses who want to reduce their costs, become more efficient and work towards becoming carbon net zero.

Why partner with us?

  • We have a person-focused approach – we lead with the personal, economic and community benefits of reducing waste and becoming more resource efficient. Although it is vital in the face of the climate crisis, we know from experience that for many, focusing on saving homes and businesses money and improving health and well-being will be important motivators for change.
  • We have experienced multi-disciplinary teams – our teams include; Energy Advisors, Landscape Architects, Business Analysts, Education and Community Engagement Practitioners, Electricians and Plumbers. We have an integrated approach, where teams work together to achieve maximum cost savings and environmental impact.
  • We innovate creative joined up solutions – we develop and implement robust behaviour change models, design and test customer journeys, monitor the efficiency of new environmental products and have integrated employment and training schemes within many of our resources efficiency programmes, maximising the benefits for both people and planet.
