We are promoting the two above as our primary treks this year and we would love you to join the team! If neither of these are quite right, you can take part in any Ultra Challenge event on behalf of Groundwork so take your pick!

Whether it’s running a marathon, hosting a bake sale, or going into the office wearing green head to toe, there’s something for everyone. If you have your own ideas then see our fundraising page here for tips, tricks and resources.

We also have loads of great events and challenges going on year round for you to take part in. Watch Stuart’s Story to see the impact that taking part in fundraising events for us has.

Feeling inspired? Take a look to see what you and your teams could be getting involved with next.

Go Green for Groundwork

Little actions can make a big difference! By going green for the day you can support Groundwork to change places and change lives in communities that need it the most. Ask your colleagues to make a donation to Groundwork to take part in green-themed fun activities throughout your chosen day. Don’t forget to keep us updated of your amazing work by tagging us and adding #gogreenforgroundwork

Here are a few ideas to help you get started:

Wear Green

From green socks and ties to dressing up as the Hulk, wearing green is an easy way to support Groundwork.

Green Lunch

Have a green lunch or picnic in your local green space. Serve coloured food such as key lime pie or cucumber sandwiches.

Host a Garden or Flower Show

Get gardening enthusiasts involved a bring people together at a showcase or sale event for the produce of your green-thumbed employees.

Veggie Growing

Hold a vegetable growing competition to see who can grow the biggest pumpkin or green bean.

Litter Pick

Make your local area greener at the same time as raising money by having a sponsored litter pick.

Pop-Up Spa

Host a pop up spa with friends and sell homemade face masks with cucumber.
