Comic Relief Community Grants | Be HER'd Girls DJ School

Be HER’d is a girls-only DJ Club that allows young female DJ’s to get into the world of music and DJing. During the club, girls are given the chance to practise and learn DJ skills, prepare for upcoming gigs, and collaborate with guest DJ’s in sessions.

This youth-led policy has allowed them to explore matters such as online safety, healthy relationships and mental wellbeing, in a safe and supportive environment.

The club benefits from having a full time female youth worker. This allows the girls to explore issues that affect them today, through discussion workshops in sessions. The girls choose the direction and topic of each session.

Places are available now, no experience necessary, ages 9-18.
