Million Hours Youth Work

What Groundwork are doing
Thanks to funding from the Government and The National Lottery Community Fund, Groundwork Youth Workers will be delivering even more youth work in Crumpsall and West Gorton, in Manchester, and in Ashton St. Michael’s, in Tameside over the next 15 months.
We will deliver open access youth work to to 11–18-year-olds in both an indoor and outdoor settings. Activities include, but are not limited to,:
- Den building
- Outdoor cooking
- Sports
- Youth-led social action projects
The sessions are designed to help young people develop connections with peers and benefit from the therapeutic nature of outdoor activities.
