Free Energy Efficiency Assessment & Grant Funding for VCSE Buildings

Groundwork is a partner in the VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme which provides a free energy assessments to help identify energy-saving opportunities in your building and support with a capital grants to implement measures recommended in your assessment.

Please state ‘Groundwork Greater Manchester’ as your preferred energy auditor on the form and we’ll be in touch soon with more details.

Our Green Doctors help vulnerable people boost their income by saving energy and water, so that they can live more comfortably and reduce their environmental impact.

Our employment specialists deliver programmes which increase confidence, provide new skills and allow people to take the first step towards employment.

Supporting the VCSE sector to respond to climate change

Net-zero support

Our Sustainable Business Consultants review, assess and provide independent advice on energy & waste, calculating a charities carbon footprint and identifying opportunities for improvement.

The team also deliver a range of environmental training courses, including Carbon Literacy, which help increase employees sustainability knowledge and skills.

Community climate workshops

Our Climate Conversations workshop informs communities about the process, key drivers and impacts of climate change; with a particular focus on climate justice and action.

Facilitated by our Climate Lead the workshop explores individual and collective action, as well as local and global action. Emphasis is placed on the fact that climate action is only impactful, meaningful and sustainable if it is fair and proportionate to the people taking it.
