Working Well Oldham, Rochdale & Tameside

Background
Through the Working Well programme Groundwork’s Individual Placement Support (IPS) Groundwork’s Employment Specialists will be providing support to people who have disabilities, helping them secure and retain rewarding work.
What we’re doing
Our IPS Employment Specialists cover the Tameside, Rochdale and Oldham boroughs to support people using primary care services into work or support for those who are employed and either off sick or struggling in the workplace due to their disability.
Our trained IPS Employment Specialists work in a person-centred way to support their participants. IPS is a tried and tested model which is almost twice as effective as previous employment models.
Our Employment Specialists will get to know individuals and create a plan based on what they want to do. They provide support with CV writing, interview techniques and job searches as well as providing wrap around support when in work.
