At Groundwork Greater Manchester, we’re empowering farmers and land managers to lead the charge against climate change through innovative and practical environmental solutions.
Our projects focus on enhancing flood resilience, advising on improving water quality, and integrating private finance into sustainable land management practices.
We are working with our local food producers to foster sustainable practices, enhance environmental resilience, and create green job opportunities, all in line with our commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and empowering farmers and local land managers.
We’re here to help develop water management plans which reduce phosphates in our water bodies.
We’re exploring how best to integrate private finance into ELM schemes.
We’re helping develop an investment-ready model focused on environmental improvement on farm land.
