We prioritise supporting people into employment who are marginalised or at risk. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Young People – those who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET
  • Care experienced people
  • Armed forces veterans
  • People with a criminal record
  • People in structured treatment for drug and/ or alcohol use

What we do

  • Provide coaching and mentoring for employment.
  • Deliver in-house accredited & non accredited pre-employment training.
  • Support beneficiaries to secure employment & access external training.
  • Support beneficiaries with all aspects of employability, including; interview techniques, CVs, cover letters and applications.
  • Provide in work support to ensure beneficiaries sustain long term employment.

Why we do it

Individuals we work with have a variety of needs such as:

  • Unemployed
  • Homeless or sofa surfing
  • Misuse of drugs and alcohol
  • Mental and physical difficulties

Working in partnership

We believe in the power of collective action and work in partnership with a range of employment teams from the public and private sector to source the support individuals need. We send a monthly email to our partners outlining the free opportunities available at Groundwork, making it easy to refer into our provision.
