Greater Manchester Green Futures Partnership
Greater Manchester Green Futures is a partnership of social enterprises working together to create inclusive and sustainable green skills training and employment opportunities across Greater Manchester, supporting the city region’s aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2038.
The network of training organisations offer a range of training courses and skills pathways across all of the five core pillars of the growing green economy in Greater Manchester.
These five sectors are primarily connected with the decarbonisation of industry, homes and transport; Low Carbon Buildings, Waste and Recycling, Energy, Transport and Natural Environment.
In order to achieve local and national net zero targets we need to develop and grow the workforce across these sectors, all the associated professional services.
The partnership is actively working to provide accessible and inclusive training courses and pathways into good jobs and careers in the green economy for people and communities across Greater Manchester.
