Location: The Nest’s hub in Peckham and other sites across London as needed

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until March 2025

Salary: £37,000

Hours: 37.5 per week

Are you passionate about young people and keen to play a pivotal role in our open access service leading on early intervention and prevention to improve the mental wellbeing of children and young people across the London Borough of Southwark?

The Nest is Groundwork London’s mental wellbeing support service for young people aged 0 – 25 and living in the London Borough of Southwark. Since launching as a remote service in May of 2020, The Nest has gone from strength to strength and, as we enter our fourth year of delivery, we are looking for an experienced, skilled and driven team manager to lead our 0-25s offer and Nest+.

These teams are responsible for providing 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions for 0 – 25 year olds from The Nest’s hub in Peckham, schools and GPs across the borough and other community spaces. The team manager will ensure that the current provision continues to be delivered to the highest of standards while looking to diversify the service offer through the delivery of a drop-in, group work and parent/carer and young people steering groups.

Please contact us if you are:

  • Committed to working to improve children and young people’s mental health
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in delivering programs that support young people’s mental health
  • Experienced in leading and line managing a team
  • Able to engage diverse community partners and stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of the barriers young people can face when accessing mental health support
