Salary: £23,809.50 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Woodlands Outdoor Education Centre currently have the role of Maintenance Officer available. It is the perfect opportunity to join a dedicated and friendly staff team, providing young people with Outdoor Educational Residential opportunities.

Woodlands OEC is one of three Residential Outdoor Centres within the Oxfordshire Outdoor Service, managed by Groundwork South. We work mainly with schools from Oxfordshire, providing highly regarded 5 day courses throughout the year. We also provide holiday accommodation and work with local schools and young people.

We are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our centres, and the Maintenance Officer role works alongside contracted providers to ensure the building and grounds are safe and kept to a good standard.

The main duties of the role include: Initiate and carry out routine centre maintenance; scheduled tasks; liaise with external contractors; maintain the minibus and trailer fleet. To ensure the site and all maintenance related work undertaken is compliant with relevant H&S requirements and legislation.
