NCS Graduation

3 to 4 weeks work.

£8 per hour or Minimum Wage for 21+. Residential payment of £400 each week.
(From April 2020, the new National Minimum Wage will apply to 21+ at £8.20 per hour)

Based in Wigan.

3-4 week programmes starting between 29th June and 27th July. Dates and times to be agreed with manager. 

We are recruiting an Assistant Team Leader to support us in delivering the amazing National Citizen Service programme (NCS) over a 3-4 week period in June and July.

NCS is a government funded project for 15-17 year olds which allows them to discover who they are and what they can do. You must be proactive, flexible and someone who would be a positive role model to young people

The role of the NCS Assistant Team Leader is to support with the delivery of the NCS programme through leading and encouraging a team of young people aged 15-17 throughout their 3-4 week programme.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, confident, adaptable, and have excellent organisation and communication skills to meet the targets of the organisation. The individual must be able to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of their NCS team. Applicants will also be expected to attend staff training and graduation ceremony before and after the 3-4 week period.

N.B. You must be aged over 18 due to residential element of programme.
