NEET Social Action Coach
Groundwork London is seeking a NEET Social Action Coach as part of Lambeth Green futures and the Head 2Work team. This unique role will involve designing projects that will enable young people to understand the opportunities open to them in the green economy, and ultimately help them develop and use their new skills gained through social action to move into work.

Contract: March 2023
Salary: £24,500
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Groundwork London is a leading social and environmental regeneration charity delivering over 500 social and environmental projects each year, many of which support people to stay in education, gain new skills and secure employment. The Trust has secured a significant number of Employment and Skills contracts from funders including Skills funding Agency, DWP and The National Lottery Community Fund and this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to join our high performing, growing team that will support over 2000 unemployed Londoners to gain new skills and progress into employment.
The Social Action Coach is a key member of both Groundwork London’s Lambeth Green futures and the Head 2Work team. They will play a central role in managing and administering social actions on behalf of the local authority and GWL, supporting NEET 16–24-year-old young people by attending social actions with them. You will work alongside Lambeth LA and the Head 2Work team, designing projects that will enable young people to understand the opportunities open to them in the green economy. You will work alongside our employment advisors to support the young people to use the new skills they gain through social action to move into work.
