SALARY: £28,050 to £33,000 per annum Pro Rata

HOURS: 22.5 hours

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

LOCATION: Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre, Denham Court Drive, Denham, Bucks, UB9 5PG & Energy Youth Centre, 79 Leigh Road, Eastleigh, SO50 9DQ

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for someone with strong leadership and organisational skills to lead the Colne Catchment Action Network (ColneCAN) and East Hampshire Catchment Partnership.

You will.

  • Maintain and grow partnerships with Local Authorities, Water Companies, statutory bodies, environmental NGOs and local groups.
  • Lead campaigns in order to galvanise public support for key catchment issues.
  • Provide professional input to responses to major development proposals and local plans.
  • Develop new partnership projects to improve rivers and the water environment. Based at the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre, near Uxbridge and Energy Youth Centre, Eastleigh, this job would suit someone with a passion for rivers and a track record of delivering environmental projects.
