Employment Manager – Performance Lead (SFTV)

Salary:                            Circa £27,000 per annum

Hours:                            2x Full Time – 37 hours per week

(Fixed Term until 30/06/2022)

Reporting to:                Performance Manager                                        

Delivery Location:      Redcar & Cleveland (x1) and Middlesbrough (x1)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Step Forward Tees Valley team as a Performance Lead.

The successful candidate will lead the achievement of performance targets by managing an interdisciplinary team of staff to work effectively and cohesively and delivery a high quality service to beneficiaries. Applying effective programme management practice and ensuring contract quality and compliance are achieved, the Performance Lead will be an enabler who enjoys succeeding with and through others.

The postholder will provide a valuable resource for Groundwork North East to enable it to achieve its objectives. Working in a busy team environment ensuring business deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality.

This role will work solely on the Step Forward Tees Valley programme.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience of successful employment programme coordination and implementation. You must have the ability of forming successful working relationships with partners, jobseekers, employers and training providers. Having experience of working effectively as a leader of a team within a complex, changing and challenging environment is essential as well as being a good facilitator and enabler with strong organisational skills to support effective programme coordination
