We are recruiting for a: Project Officer (Green Team)
Job Purpose
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the environment, conservation, and practical outdoor work. You’ll work alongside a supportive team delivering projects that improve green spaces, support wildlife habitats, and engage local communities and businesses in environmental action.
No two days are the same — from woodland and river conservation to habitat management and volunteering events, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience across a wide variety of projects.
Whether you already have experience in horticulture, conservation, or grounds maintenance — or you’re looking to grow your skills in the environmental sector — we’d love to hear from you.
Main Duties
• Supporting path maintenance and environmental improvement projects
• Assisting with woodland, river, and habitat conservation work
• Helping deliver community and corporate volunteering days.
• Working with partners and stakeholders across the region
• Learning new practical conservation skills through training and on-the-job experience
• Contributing to projects that benefit both people and wildlife
