Role Description:

The Integrating Migrant People through Activities to Connect & Thrive (IMPACT) project aims to support 600 migrants (Third Country Nationals) by assisting them to integrate into UK society through a programme of holistic activities, coordinated and delivered through 3 key areas: Language, Preparation for Work and Cultural/Community activities. IMPACT will be delivered in two areas, West London and Bristol, and is funded by AMIF (the EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund).

This role is a job share post with another Senior Outreach Officer. We are looking for a proactive and confident Senior Outreach Officer to co-lead on the recruitment, engagement and registration of Third Country Nationals (migrant people) onto IMPACT with our other Senior Outreach Officer. The Senior Outreach Officers will also lead on the establishment and maintenance of partnerships across the migrant and wider community and also voluntary organisations. They will also work with the IMPACT team to deliver various aspects and components of the project.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, with experience in community outreach and engagement, including working with and supporting Third Country Nationals and/or migrant communities. They will be a confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and a good track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships and relationships with key external stakeholders. They will also have experience in establishing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation processes, including reporting to funders.

Individuals who have had first-hand lived experience of immigration systems are encouraged to apply. Being able to speak Levantine Arabic is desirable but not essential.

Main Duties:

  • Lead the recruitment, engagement and registration of 300 migrants onto the IMPACT project in Bristol.
  • Build partnerships with community and voluntary sector organisations supporting migrants.
