WAVES

WAVES is a volunteer brokerage service for volunteers, organisations and businesses in Croydon & across West Sussex. Often people are prevented from developing their careers due to a lack of experience. We help individuals find flexible volunteer placements that suit their lives, skills and interests. We run workshops and training and support those involved with one-to-one support both before and during placements.

We offer:

• CVs, cover letters and DBS checks
• Job searching and support with interview preparation
• Travel and childcare costs
• Getting the correct identification documents required (e.g. birth certificates)
• Referrals to employment programmes
• Support to improved confidence and motivation
