The Brook Inn had high fuel bills and wanted to reduce these.
Their bills were high due to poor insulation – namely the old windows and doors. BEE advisors recommended these be replaced and helped the Inn to secure a grant. As a result the new windows and doors have helped them to saved 25-30% on their gas and electricity bills.

The Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) Anglia programme provides free support to eligible organisations to help them become more energy efficient.
The first BEE Anglia programme has come to an end this year (2019). The project has benefited small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Suffolk and Norfolk, as well as the wider Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area, thanks to funding from the ERDF.
The Carbon Charter is an award recognising carbon reduction measures in small and medium businesses.
