Are you a parent of a young women aged 11 to 17 in Brinnington?

Green Guardians is a 8 week summer programme designed to enhance your child’s mental and physical well-being through nature-based practical activities, and physical exploration of the area.

What we’re doing

Activities include;

  • Skill Learning Sessions – Willow weaving, hammock building and more
  • Mindfulness and nature connection – Plant discovery, nature photography, bird watching and more
  • Community engagement and youth-led action – Community volunteering, organising events, group trips and more

Bringing young women together through nature will help to build up their confidence over the summer & beyond.

This activity may count towards your child’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills/Volunteering/Physical section, please check with your DofE Leader before signing up.
